TWW provides a great and fun experience though all its delivery channels. The courses and content are top notch, the podcasts and YouTubes are fun and full of useful information. TWWG has the absolute best content and instruction out there. I’ve built a ton of guild projects over the years and each is approached and explained in great detail. I have watched Mark THE Wood Whisperer since the first YouTube post. Have watched him explain how to go lumber shopping to setting up typical woodworking machines and on and on. NEVER disappointed in the quality of the content or in the absolute honest opinion about techniques and products. You will NOT be disappointed in the quality of his web site or posted content. He gets a fifteen out of ten. Others try to match his content but fall short.

The Woodwhisperer Guild is an amazing resource for all woodworkers. The Guild classes are the closest thing to an in person class that you will find anywhere on the internet. Having the instructors reply to messages within a day or two when it’s been months, if not years, after that class has been posted is amazing. I would definitely recommend becoming a guild member to anyone who has an interest in woodworking and wants to learn new techniques through making projects.

The WWGuild has been an awesome experience for me as a novice to intermediate (but really still a novice) woodworker. I've made several of the projects from the courses and I've used the forum countless times to help answer questions I had, or frankly questions I didn't even realize I had. I've found the woodworking community to be so supportive and informative and this corner of that world absolutely lives up to the positive reputation. Can I leave my guild+ membership in my will? Probably gonna do that.

I joined the guild a few years ago to learn more about woodworking and develop my new hobby. While there are many online communities available, what sets The Wood Whisperer (TWW) Guild apart is its forums. There are plenty of experienced woodworkers who are eager to answer questions and assist newcomers. I have not encountered any negativity or unkind responses in this community. Additionally, Marc is one of the few online instructors who personally responds to questions that members have. Great job, Marc and Nicole!

I'm a huge fan of the Guild, The Wood Whisperer, and of course, Marc himself. I've purchased quite a few projects and have always found the instruction to be immensely clear and helpful. This comment stands not only for the project that I'm working on but also for upskilling me for other projects in the future. I recently purchased a consultation with Marc for a media cabinet that I was building with my son. I was struggling with a number of elements, and I am certain that the 60 minutes I spent with Marc contributed significantly to the overwhelming success of the project. Thank you, Marc, for your wisdom, wit, and inspiration!

Guild+ is a fantastic value, which I would say is a theme with all the content on tww and tww guild. Marc and Nicole are both approachable and friendly, treat all questions/requests respectfully, and create a virtual community that feels real. Notice I haven't mentioned the actual woodworking yet? That's a given with the group. Marc answers questions both beginner friendly, as well as complex. And he is always the first to point out if he doesn't know something, and points the person in the right direction. If you're a woodworker who is looking to improve your skills, or looking for a community to connect with, Guild+ is, in my opinion, the best value out there.

Big fan of the Guild+. My favorite feature is the rolling access to select course. It allows me to watch courses that I would normally not purchase and pick up some valuable nuggets of information. It also provides a chance to "try before you buy". While it hasn't led me to purchase a project I otherwise wouldn't have, I could see this in the future. Also enjoy the extra lessons. While I haven't attended many live, the recorded versions are valuable as well. As always, Marc and Nicole do a great job with the content. I owe all of my skills (limited as they are) to the WW. The Guild+ is another great example of their commitment to excellence in teaching. Also, the discounts are nice too...

What I appreciate the most about Marc is that he comes across as genuine. He’s up front about his relationship with sponsors and offers what I feel is honest feedback. I follow several woodworking channels and many are just presenting commercials with a little woodworking content thrown in which is ok. Sometimes I watch those just for the entertainment value. I can see where making a living doing YouTube has to be challenging and I don’t begrudge anyone for their efforts. I’ve purchased and built a few guild projects. They are very detailed and excellent for expanding my woodworking knowledge. You can tell that Marc actually enjoys teaching. In the end I can say that I almost always learn something from a TWW video and I can’t say that about many. Keep up the good work.

The WW Guild was a game-changer for me. I was on a steep learning curve toward fine woodworking, but needed some apprenticing on some of the more advanced joinery, design and execution. I had read a lot and watched a lot of makers/content creators, so I had quite a bit of knowledge, but what I was lacking was practical skill. My first Guild project was the Split Top Roubo. (I had no business starting there, but that's how my journey began.) With Marc's patient, engaging video teaching style, I was able to KILL IT! I love my bench, and have grown my skills considerably making other Guild projects. Plus, Marc, Nicole and the kids (and pets) are wholesome and seem to really care about the Guildies. I heartily recommend the Wood Whisperer Guild to any aspiring or experienced woodworker!

In a YouTube world that has become more muddied with endorsements and financial bias, they have maintained their integrity and have always produced a top notch product and reliable honest evaluations. The guild has always been a good value, and now as a member of Guild+, I have begun to enjoy and am looking forward to the expanded services and content that a Guild+ membership has to offer. I am a member of both the TWW Guild and Guild Plus. There are many things I like about them. Here is a short list… - the guild courses are well documented and executed training videos. Whatever is your level of experience you will learn something. You’ll be inspired and instructed in how to elevate your woodworking. - Guild Plus is a lot of fun. In additional to getting one project to watch per month, there is a forum for peer-to-peer discussions which also has Marc chiming in. The watch parties of old timey videos are a hoot. Good way to spend an evening hour. - This is probably my biggest endorsement. There are other wood working groups, and other woodworking courses, but none bring what this one has - Marc and Nicole. Marc is a fantastic teacher. He always seems to know exactly where to dive into more detail on a subject, and he is darn entertaining. Any course I have built, whether from Marc or one of the other instructors, has turned out great. They provide everything you need to succeed, and all the instructors are approachable and will answer any question. By the way, look at the instructors he has creating projects for the site; these are people that were either editors in the most popular woodworking magazines, like the Schwarz and Megan Fitzpatrick as well as icons like Darrel Peart. These people would not put their name to something that is second-rate. I've been following Marc since the very beginning, and he, as well as Nicole, are the nicest people you will ever have to deal with. I wish all small businesses operated as they do. I've been following The Wood Whisperer since one of Marc's first videos when I stumbled upon it on YouTube. I instantly liked his humor and how he approached woodworking. His knowledge and ability to teach the craft in a clear, concise, humorous, and non-threatening manner is rare in any craft or teaching. His research and attention to detail are impressive, as is his reach in the woodworking world. The Wood Whisperer Guild is a great place to socialize, learn, and purchase plans and merchandise to further my woodworking knowledge. Also, it's not just a site where you buy stuff. Marc is incredibly accessible to answer questions and is open to comments. He has created a great gathering place for craftsmen of all types. Having seen him grow as both a "wood-tuber" and a craftsman over the years are some of the reasons I have continued to follow him. I have recommended The Wood Whisperer to many of my friends and will continue to do so.

I was instantly hooked on the YouTube channel and watched almost all the episodes. When I was done there I started purchasing guild projects. They were more detailed than I expected and made possible for me (and anyone) to build high quality projects. But, what really separates The Wood Whisperer Guild (and Guild plus) from other educational resources, is the level of access you get to Marc, and the other Guild instructors. I've had so many questions answered. Often times having the same question answered more than once because I forgot I asked it. Joining The Wood Whisperer Guild has been a game-changer for my woodworking journey. The wealth of information, insights, and practical advice on techniques, tools, and processes has been instrumental in elevating the quality of my projects. Whether you’re a novice looking to create your first masterpiece or a seasoned woodworker sharpening your craft, the Guild offers something for everyone. The detailed courses are a standout feature—hours of tutorials and step-by-step guidance ensure success, no matter your skill level. It’s incredibly rewarding to finish a project and feel truly proud of what you’ve built. Plus, the community is second to none! The Guild is full of members with varying levels of expertise, and the welcoming environment encourages growth, camaraderie, and creativity. Becoming a Guild+ member takes it to the next level. The 5% discount on courses is a fantastic perk, but the real highlights are the monthly live woodworking demos and my personal favorite—the 'Watch Along with Marc' sessions. There’s nothing like coming together virtually to watch episodes featuring woodworking legends, exchanging thoughts and feedback in real time with Marc, Nicole, and other members. It’s both educational and a ton of fun! Joining the Guild gave me the foundation to build my skills, but joining Guild+ has multiplied that knowledge many times over. If you’re passionate about woodworking and haven’t joined yet, don’t wait—this is the perfect opportunity to take your craft to the next level while enjoying a fantastic community!
